Headbands – Meaningful & Fun

Students will weave their own colorful headbands using a soft acrylic-wool blend yarn (with the option for full wool at an additional cost). It’s a fun, creative process that’s quick to learn — and everyone leaves with something special. Headbands hold cultural significance in Indigenous ceremony, offered as gifts of protection and respect to honor the wearer.
Introduction to Tabletop Loom – Small Weaving Project
Ages: 8+ Time Needed: Minimum 4 hours Scale: Less than 10 students is ideal
This hands-on class walks students through the full weaving process — from warping the loom to removing and preparing their piece for display. It’s a beautiful introduction to weaving for those ready to dig deeper and create something meaningful.
Coin Purse – Quick & Creative
Ages: 8+ Time Needed: 1–2 hours Scale: 10+ students
This cheerful little project introduces the basics of weaving while inviting students to explore color and design. It’s a wonderful way to learn, create, and take home a handmade treasure. The coin purse also holds ceremonial meaning — a small token of appreciation, symbolizing a respectful and heartfelt exchange.
